Zynga announced today that it will be releasing its first blockchain game titled Sugartown. While NFTs and NFT gaming has been pretty comical for the most part, this is Zynga - the same Zynga that created Farmville, Words With Friends, and was acquired for $12.7 billion last year.

While crypto die-hards may hate this, we absolutely love this. Zynga knows gaming, user acquisition, scale, marketing, revenue, and how to run a business. While the suits entering the space is massively frowned upon, the potential for Zynga to bring real value here is a giant upside. Expect Zynga to bring a new level of standards, along with some potential new crypto users into the arena.

Sam Bankman-Fried, disgraced founder of FTX, is set to be jailed following a judge's decision. This came after a request made by federal prosecutors due to alleged witness tampering by SBF.

Bankman-Fried will remain incarcerated until his criminal trial, which is scheduled for October 2.

Despite his appeal for delayed detention, Judge Lewis Kaplan denied it, stating there was probable cause to believe Bankman-Fried attempted witness tampering.
