The U.S. Commodity Futures and Trade Commission (CFTC) has brought charges against three well-known DeFi derivatives protocols. The CFTC alleges that Opyn, Zeroex, and Deridex, which are managed by companies based in Delaware, unlawfully provided unlicensed derivatives to individuals in the United States.

Each of the companies now faces significant fines imposed by the CFTC, with the regulatory body arguing that transactions conducted through smart contracts fall under the purview of U.S. regulations. These actions occur in the context of the SEC's rigorous regulatory efforts, which have been met with legal challenges in U.S. courts.

If that doesn’t suck enough, LBRY was hit yesterday in New Hampshire with fines.

The (C)FTC wants to control crypto because they are scared of it.

Be smart out there friends. They want control for a reason.

• It will be low cost for a potential high return

• You will make new friends

• Good communities are worth their weight in gold nitro.
